With the introduction of PROLENE® Polypropylene Suture with HEMO-SEAL™, Ethicon offers a solution that significantly reduces hole bleeding within cardiovascular surgery.

For the EMEA Launch, Oui3 developed the tagline “There are times when leakage can be critical.”

We proposed and sourced a series of real world situations when creating a seal is crucial, producing a series of email teasers in the run up to the launch event and utilising these as panel graphics at the launch which took place at EACTS (The European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery).

As a promotion at the launch event, we created branded physical blood bags. These in turn acted both as promotional and product demonstration aids for the Sales reps.

Impactful Presentation

The medical devices within Ethicon Women’s Health & Urology are by their very nature relatively small. We designed an event experience, whereby each of the key products was presented in floating display cases, presenting the devices in a similar to precious jewellery.

The X Factor

STRATAFIX, Ethicon’s knotless tissue repair device required a launch which communicated the innovative star quality of the device. We created an X Factor themed event which took cues from the television talent show.  A designed stage set played host to the launch events with participating delegate groups performing 3 minute skit around the attributes of the product, which were then rated by the product leaders.

While a live chat show, scripted, produced and directed by Oui3, featured interviews with key Opinion Leaders and product developer via video chat, all hosted by one of the project leaders.

Introducing 2 unique products

This launch event aimed to launch and showcase two innovative unique Ethicon surgical products, which used together provide better surgical outcomes for patients.

We decided to play on the 2 aspect when theming and branding the event, creating INIT2WINIT as the brand identity and over all event message. We featured a strong reference to products livery in our creative for the event, using green lighting throughout the main venue dressing and stage set.

Beyond the call of duty

Playing on the INIT2WINIT concept, we created a team building activity and launch event.

The launch evening took place in one of Hamburg’s premier venues EAST. At the venue, we took over the nightclubs digital LED screens, creating a series of animated loops to provide event ownership for the Ethicon team.
