Established client, the Iconic Scottish ready meal brand McIntosh recently commissioned us to complete a brand refresh of their entire range.
Following a period of growth and continued product development, we were asked to help align the McIntosh brand identity and packaging with their business ambitions and evolving customer base, keeping it fresh and modern, while retaining its strong brand history and heritage.
After extensive research and staged design development, a brand identity was created which reflected the modern, forward thinking brand direction. The new identity helps take the company forward into their new phase of market evolution whilst maintaining the values of the recognisable, impactful and well-loved existing brand presence.
Now “McIntosh of Strathmore”, the new identity further aligns the brand with their parent company, “Strathmore Foods” and their heritage in Forfar, while providing a refreshing new look.
As well as the new brand identity, the re-design also addressed the use of the iconic red tartan by adding a modern twist, which is more in line with the company’s ambitions beyond the Scottish market place.
The new chilled meal packaging was launched in March and marks start of the new identity roll out across the whole range.
McIntosh of Strathmore are thinking big and pushing forward with their brand revolution, starting with the launch of a range of fantastic new products.
